LES MIS CH 10

I really liked how the Bishop and the other guy solved their conflict. Because they understood where they were coming from and therefore understood each other. And I think that when two people resolve a conflict it becomes easier for them to understand that they need to understand all parties and where they are coming from, and the relationship gets stronger.

WHY I CHOOSE WHAT I CHOOSE

I choose the book, "The Best Of Me" written by Nicholas Sparks. I choose this book because it was given to me by my 8th grade English teacher, who always encouraged me and helped me get into honors English. It's a romantic type of book, and I avoided those types of books back in 9th grade that's why I haven't read it yet, but now I'm a whole other person, and I'm eager to start reading it.

LES MIS #1

I really liked how the author describes these two people who seemed to have it all but have now lost it all. And how I can imagine how they look and therefore create a scene/movie in my head.

Hey There!

Thank you for taking time to check out my page, I created this page for my 4th period english class. I can spend HOURS writing and I love learning new things everyday. I love hearing classical music, plays, picnics and ice-skating. I named this blog "Gabi's Second Island" because I have an old one that I still like to use to write down my feelings and opinions, and it's titled "Gabi's island".

PANDEMIC PEDAGOGY

I think most of us can agree that we prefer it on campus and not through zoom. It's very quiet and people don't seem focused, including me. I think there are so many distractions when you have a phone or tablet right in front o you while class. And sometimes you get bored and go searching up things you never would have searched if you have all the time in the world with your device like, "How do volcanoes work?" or "When is national dessert day?" They have no relation to your class and you may have your zoom camera on but can still be searching things around and have teachers thinking you're paying attention when you're really not.
