Carbohydrates are the sugars, starches and fibers found in fruits, grains, vegetables and milk products.  Carbs are found in bread, pasta, starchy fruits and vegetables, popcorn, and rice. Carbs are not necessarily bad for you, there are good carbs and then there are bad carbs. The good carbs are what fuel you up and have you feeling great. And no, they won't make you gain weight. Carbs are actually good for your health because they help avoid diseases and conditions. Nothing happens if you don't consume any carbs although you will feel sluggish and drained but nothing permanent.

Protein is found in meat, soy, eggs, beans, nuts, and tofu. Besides many protein foods is delicious they also help keep your body strong. Protein also gives you energy, but it's used more widely by bodybuilders and people who just want to keep in good shape.

Fats like these help your cholesterol, they protect your organs, give you energy, support cell growth, and lower the risk of heart problems.

There are healthy types of sugars and also bad types of sugar. The sugar we get in our fruit is actually great for you, apples, bananas, oranges, and strawberries are all great examples of the good type of sugar, . But sugars like in baked goods, soft drinks, or snack foods all have bad sugars. There is really no benefit from these types of sugars other than it tastes good and satisfies your addiction for it. Too much of these bad sugar can lead to diseases like diabetes, obesity, increases risk of heart disease, it increases risk of cancer, it can cause acne, fatty liver, depression, and even accelerates the skin aging process.
