We need to be exercising at least thirty minutes per day. If you work in an office or are a student on a computer for more than seven hours, I recommend trying the Pomodoro technique, getting up for five minutes every twenty-five minutes, to stay focused. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as you get up and walk around. If you are sitting, be sure to always maintain a good posture.
How often do you hear people complain about learning high school math? I know many adults that tell me they haven't done any high school math since high school. And I know some are doing very well, succeeding and thriving that don't use math, BUT others are stuck working as a cashier at McDonald's. Calculators are a HUGE help in todays society but only to those who need them, and I don't have anything against calculators, I love them. I sometimes use them myself, but here's why I try to stay away from them. I remember seeing my second-graders peers secretly using those calculators for their test that don't do well with high school math. It's always great to challenge your mind, and math is the perfect way to do this. Algebra 2 is critical and necessary to graduate, and when you graduate with a diploma, you get a little bit more job offers, so you aren't stuck working as a cashier counting money for the rest of your life.
A good baker takes into account what the weather is like. The humidity level in your indoor air affects the moisture balance in a recipe whether your baked goods fall flat, are too dense and chewy, or too dry and crumbly. Dry ingredients like flour, sugar, and salt will absorb moisture at a high humidity level. When humidity is low, they’ll get drier. For perfect cakes, cookies, and other holiday treats, you may need to increase or decrease the amount of liquids in the recipes, adjust the baking time, or keep your indoor humidity level under control. Humidity comes from water evaporating from lakes and oceans.
The chocolate chip cookie was invented in 1938 by Ruth Wakefield. She said, "We had been serving a thin butterscotch nut cookie with ice cream. Everybody seemed to love it, but I was trying to give them something different. So I came up with Toll House cookie." She admitted that it was an accident and expected the chocolate to melt but it didn't. And that's how chocolate chip cookies were invented!
"I'm Feeling Good" by Nina Simone
Esto dijo,"We had been serving a thin butterscotch nut cookie with ice cream. Everybodyseemed to love itbut I was trying to give them something different. So I came up with Toll House cookie."
